I do not support a bailout, period. Why should those of us who have been responsible have to pay for the actions of predatory lenders and those who should've never taken those loans in the first place? I gambled on a 7yr balloon loan at the time of purchase (knowing full and well what I was doing) and promptly refi'd into a 30yr fixed at 5.25% when rates came down, thus covering my ass.

You know that I'm a social liberal, but as a fiscal conservative, it pisses me off to think that I have to help bail a bunch of people out who made poor decisions. And if there is some form of a bailout, I think those who took advantage of the subprime lending should have to face some sort of consequence. Just my $0.02 to add to the $700 billion.
