No commentary. Just the clip, in all its glory.
When I was a child, my favorite thing to do was write stories. My mother still has (somewhere?) the first story I ever wrote. “Watch the Flower Grow” is a tale of a small seed that — you guessed it! — grows into a beautiful flower. Free play time from ages 5 through 10 was…
Continue Reading »Five years ago, on the night before you were born, I lay awake in bed wondering. Who were you? What would you look like? What would your personality be? I was so anxious and excited to meet you. And then, at 5:55 pm the next day, you arrived. A happy, healthy and mellow baby with…
Continue Reading »It’s that time of year again… G’s birthday is coming up! As my little man plans to mark his fifth year, I have a party to organize. And, of course, pay for. He wanted gymnastics, so I called the nearest place. The cost? $270. On top of that, I will need to buy food, cake,…
Continue Reading »I am completely obsessed with genetics. I find the manner in which dominant and recessive genes combine to form a phenotype (i.e. the trait that displays) positively fascinating. I write about predicting babies’ features a lot on this blog because: 1) I think it’s so damn interesting and 2) You can actually predict what your…
Continue Reading »I just read an article from yesterday’s NYT entitled, “Toddlers’ Favorite Toy: The iPhone.” The author basically states that the iPhone is to toddlers today as the evil television was to my generation. haha awesome. as they once said on family guy, “jon stewart is our most important jew.”
LOL its funny i think.greetings from me
I always love me some Jon Stewart!!!
that was just simply amazing
I’m so glad you posted this! The double standards are insane!! This is going to make for some great dinner conversation amongst my rigid Republican family members, who once grilled me about Obama’s pastor. Hmmmmmmmmmmm.
Sometimes I don’t think Jon Stewart is that funny, but that was. Talk about hypocrites! The people saying everything against others before, now conveniently turn it all around. This has been the craziest elections!
It is funny. I’m waiting for the episode where they show Obama saying he wants healthcare for everyone and then showing him saying he “doesn’t want to burden the mother” to explain why he voted to deny healthcare to living babies who had survived an abortion. Or maybe how he said we don’t need to drill, we just need tire guages then said he wanted to drill three days later. Well, I’m sure you get the point. But of course, to a lib it’s more important what Rove sayd than what the guy who’s actually running for their side says and does.
